The home is just a few feet from Prospect above the cove with all coast, retail and dining truly steps away. The home is very private and secluded from public view, spacious-feeling and decor is artistic and eclectic. Truly set up for comfortable and convenient living and feels luxurious. Garden is SO great! Still we’d go back to this home in a heartbeat. No view of the coast but full access to everything, including beach, within a block or two’s walking distance. We absolutely loved it!
Can’t beat this location. Right in the heart of La Jolla, right in the action. The art in the house is beautiful; it felt like I was in a museum. My wife is in a chair and found this place pretty accessible. We used a small ramp near the front, and we stuck the shower bench in the master bathroom. I liked the Japanese-style bidet attachment on the master bathroom toilet. Overall I would definitely recommend staying at this house and in this neighborhood.
Amazing location. Great home, clear pride of ownership. The neighbor is very friendly. The host was easygoing and accommodating. This is our second summer booking this place and we can't wait to come back again.

Everything about our 3-month stay was exceptional. The house is located just a block from the main business district, and two blocks from the cove, in a quiet neighborhood of mostly single-family homes. Every part of the Village is walkable. As is the case with nearly all the houses in the Village, the house is older, but it has been extensively updated and it is extremely clean and well cared for. The outdoor space is a delightful, private sanctuary for outdoor working, eating or relaxing. The owner has included everything you might need for a short or long stay, and was extremely responsive when the inevitable (small) issues or questions arose during our stay. A parking spot is included, and in the evening there is plenty of unmetered parking adjacent to the property. The adjacent neighbor is wonderful. We have stayed in La Jolla on and off for 20 years, and this place exceeded all expectations.
Great location, walking distance to La Jolla beaches and restaurants. The place was very homey. Gigi left great toys for the kids and had a pack'n' play - super helpful for traveling parents!
Gigis home in La Jolla is a solid and strong 10/10. It’s easy to find, the house was SPOTLESS and very clean. It was decorated beautifully and I enjoyed just hanging out in the house admiring all the art at times, and the yard was like a slice of heaven. Also there was tons of recommendations that were all very good. The location was great you could really just walk the whole time as there was so much to do in the neighborhood., you don’t really need a car. And even if you do decide to travel and explore San Diego, all the good stuff is no more than 30mins from the house I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit San Diego. And hopefully I can make this my regular La Jolla vacation spo

Gigi’s place was perfect for our visit to San Diego. The location in La Jolla is ideal- walking distance into the main areas with shops and restaurants. The house was equipped with everything you need and more! It was clean and just as pictured. We enjoyed cooking meals and sitting on the patio for happy hour each night! Gigi was very communicative. She sent detailed instructions and lots of tips for the area ahead of our arrival. I would definitely recommend this home!
