Chula Vista, Spanish for "beautiful view," carries a delightful family friendly suburban feel and is the second largest city in San Diego. It lives like a younger, better planned city. With greenery along the ample roads, and town centers clustered throughout. There is an old Chula Vista just west of the 805 freeway, and an even newer Chula Vista (Eastlake), with malls, trolley stops, new schools, and developments, located south east. Chula Vista is expanding, but what remains true wherever you are in its growing city, is its carefully planned, safe, and family vibing nature.
This place looks better than the pictures! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Gigi. She walked us through the house and the space - immediately, I felt taken care of and welcomed. This place is amazing! Each room was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were like a spa! The master bathroom... WOW! One of my favorite parts was the back patio area where there was a great view of the sunset every night. There were also post-it notes in the kitchen, letting us know where everything was (how thoughtful)! The house is also well stocked with all the spices you need, as well as plates, bowls, and kitchen supplies. I've been to many of Airbnb's and this is probably the best home I've been too. Gigi is also one of the best hosts I've had. Great place, would come here again. 5/5 stars!
We stayed at Gigi’s place over Thanksgiving holiday and hosted some family from San Diego and out of town. The space was perfect for hosting dinner, with a great backyard and amazing views. Would recommend for larger groups looking for enough space to comfortably relax in.

Amazing views, perfect amount of rooms to bathrooms ratio. A definite must stay if traveling in a big group. Was perfect for what was needed.
Hemos rentado la casa Terra Nova en varias ocasiones, de uno hasta 4 meses a la vez y siempre nos han recibido de muy buena forma. La casa tiene todo lo q necesitamos, y la decoracion hace sentirse en casa. Esperamos poder regresar pronto. Gracias por todo Gigi y familia!
First of all the property manager is the best!!! We rented the Terra Nova house for 3 months through our insurance, and not only has Gigi thought of every detail to make the house as great as it can be, she also anticipates any need that might come up! The property is beautiful, plenty of space for your family. I have 2 boys and there was plenty of space for them to play independently and not be in each other’s hair. At the same time plenty of space for our large family to have dinner and meals together!!(very important) Very tasteful and functional! Beautiful views of San Diego from the backyard. It is very much a hidden gem. Great location and easy to get to anywhere in San Diego since it’s so close to the freeway, yet tucked away where you don’t deal with high traffic streets. Also really close to a cute little park that’s walking distance which we walked to daily to get our steps in and have the kids burn some energy.
Gigi (the host) was extremely responsive, compassionate and understanding. Our family was in need of a home that would meet many of our expectations as we were needing to be out of our home for several weeks due to re-flooring. She was flexible with our change of dates as things with construction are always never concrete. There was an issue with the toilet in which she immediately sent someone out to address it. Location was perfect due to it still being fairly close to my son's school as well as my work. Home was comfortable and big enough for my family of 4, plus my elderly mother and our dog.
